Line Drawing and Wire Self Portraits

The Ganon children created wire self portraits during small group.
We began the activity by creating line drawing self portraits.

It took a lot of concentration to keep the pencil on the paper and not pick it up.

Next, the children used wire to create their self portrait.

Tomorrow, the children will create a base
to help their sculpture stand.

Ganon Stories

The Ganon children dictated stories during Small Group today.  The children began by choosing a character(s) for their story.  Next, they told the story and watched Mrs. Mahern type as they spoke.  Finally, the children choose a picture as an illustration to go with their story.
