Frog at our School
Did you know that one day, back in 2016, we had a FROG at our school?  Check out my blog post from that exciting day.  You might see some of your friends from 2nd grade in the pictures.

Lily Pad Number Game
Lily Pad Number Game is a fun math game that children enjoy.  First, cut out lily pad shapes and write numbers on them.  The game is played by children jumping from number to number while naming the number that they land.
This photo is from Nurturinglearning.com.
The site has other great ideas for math games for preschool and Kindergarten.

Here is a link for some printable play dough frog number mats.
These mats could be used for more than just play dough.
Small loose parts (i.e. pompoms, buttons) also work well.

Painted Rock Frogs
I love this idea from #northeastOhiorocks
These frogs would be fun to use with the sensory play ideas below.
Frog Sensory Fun
Sensory play is my tip for keeping children busy and engaged in play.  It allows for open ended play and meets children's sensory needs (which is especially important during stressful times.)
I like this idea because it takes a large tub, adds rocks, a little water,
some foam lily pads (you could use  leaves), and plastic frogs).

(I would like to credit the source, but can't find it.)
I love the idea of using the sink, a little green food coloring, tiny sticks, and some frogs.

Littlebinsforlittlehands.com shared this fun sensory table filled with aquarium rocks.

Have a nice day!  See you tomorrow!
