All about Me Stories

Middle School Buddies

The Middle School students visit our classroom once a month during their elective.  Both the younger and older students enjoy their time together.  Today the middle schoolers read books to the Ganon children.

Adventures in the Outdoor Classroom

Pumpkins
We added the pumpkins that we picked to our provocation table
 for exploring in the classroom.

Fairy Garden Pieces and Loose Parts Fun
The materials in the outdoor classroom allow for hours of open ended play.

 Kale
The kale just keeps regrowing.  We cut in and soon more has regrown.

 Peppers
We picked the first peppers ever grown in the EC garden.
We have tried several times, but this was our first success!

The red pepper was extra exciting!

Bugs
The variety of bugs are always of interest to the Ganon children.

 Logs
The logs are great for both sitting and climbing.
 Sunflowers
The sunflowers are very tall.
 Wildflowers
Children picked wildflowers.

They created beautiful bouquets.

We delivered the flower bouquets to the early childhood classes.

The teachers were very happy.

We had one bouquet left and we gave it to Mrs. Gettinger
to decorate the front office.  She put it on a desk so that everyone that enters the office can see it.
 Exploring the Green Pepper

Mrs. Levin cut open the pepper.

The children passed around the pepper and looked at the seeds.
