Ram Visit

Each year before Rosh Hashanah, Emma from Little Eagle Creek Farm, brings a ram for the children to see. We discuss how ram's horns are used to make shofars.  The Ganon children enjoyed petting the ram and touching his horns.

After the ram visit, the children drew pictures of rams.

Apple Math

Today, we read Ten Apples Up on Top.

The children counted and added apples for the book characters.

We played an apple tree number recognition and counting game.

Next, we did apple tasting.
Mrs. Levin showed the inside of the apple.

We then created a graph of which apple the children preferred.
