The group played UNO for the first time.  We only used the number cards (no skip, draw two/four, reverse cards) for our first time playing.  While playing the children were practicing their number recognition, taking turns, and counting cards.

The children chose letter C items from the C bucket and then wrote C's in the handwriting book.

Categorizing Colors

Today we worked hard on categorizing colors. The children sat on the carpet in a large group and identified colors. After identifying colors, the chidren named off different things that they know are those colors. The chidren loved watching their teacher draw the different things they said as well.
