Creating Light Tables

Our class worked in small groups to create light tables/boxes.  The children made decisions about what materials that they would like to use.  The children decided to use aluminum foil taped to the bottom and sides of a clear plastic container.  Then they added white tissue paper under the lid of the container.  Finally, the children experimented with what light sources they wanted to put inside to light up the table.  The children were happy with the light table but think that they may want to make some changes later in the week.  They enjoyed playing on their light table.
