Addition Math Game

Here's an easy and fun game that you can play at home.  We created a dice using a cubed tissue box.  Then we added a post it to each side.  We wrote a plus side and a number on each post it (+0, +1, +2, +3).  The children then took turns rolling the dice and adding the number on the dice.  The game encouraged a lot of counting, adding, and comparing quantities.
We played the game during our whole group math time and then the children played it later in the day in small groups.
