Sculptures

The children were given two different mediums to create collages, clay and styrofoam.  The loose parts were the same for both mediums.  The styrofoam invited collaboration between friends.  The clay was used more individually.  Both activities encouraged a lot of meaningful conversations between the children.

"Yes, let's have a party on the boat."

"I am making it very pokey."

"The spike planet where bad guys can't go."

"I made a bow and arrow."
