Trip to Israel on Yom Ha'atzmaut

A morning pre-flight snack of milk and bananas (faster than cereal and milk :-) will be served early to enable everyone to arrive at the airport gate in time for departure.  Remember your passports and boarding passes! 

After our short flight and disembarkment from the airplane, groups  will rotate between the different areas (see below) . Our itinerary included approx. 15 minutes at each location. Don’t forget to get  your passport stamped at each stop!    

Tel Aviv

 have the chance to prepare and sample 

freshly squeezed

 (Jaffe) orange juice

 and fragrant hummus.  

Served with red pepper strips.

Eilat

While visiting this well known resort spot, 

we

’ll have the opportunity to:

• Decorate and construct boats and then float them.
• Enjoy  sensory play in our kinetic sand beach.

 the last remaining wall of the 2nd Bait Hamikdash

• Write
   notes/draw pictures 
  to place in the wall’s cracks  (
  Kotel image will be 
  projected onto the wall.)
• Arrange squares/domes to create the Jerusalem city scape
   at the light table.
• Use lose parts to collaboratively fill in a large outline of the map of Israel.

Ms. Ruti will lead the children in song and dance at this stop.  

**Upon our return, an Israeli themed lunch will be served i followed by cupcake decorating**
