Turkey Trouble

Turkey Trouble is the story of a turkey that does not want to be Thanksgiving dinner.  The turkey disguises himself in many different costumes to hide from the farmer.  The turkey's final costume is a pizza delivery man and delivers a pizza for Thanksgiving dinner.

The Ganon children created their own turkey disguises for the turkey.

The class got some exercise by playing a hilarious game of Turkey Tag.  The objective of the game is to try to unclip the turkey feathers from another player.

The class played the Thanksgiving race to the top game during whole group time.

The roll and cover turkey game was a favorite math activity today.

We read In November during story time.  A Ganon student commented, "This is the perfect book because it is November."

During free play, some children put the number cards in order and counted out the correct number of leaves to match the number.

Reading turkey books and i-spy books was another activity that children were engaged in during free play today.
