Recently, we have began to really talk about numbers. The children are fun and engaged in learning more about numbers everyday. The children have been playing "Splat" on the carpet as a large group activity in the mornings after snack. Today, we began talking about how some numbers have curves, some have lines, and some have both! The children worked so hard today on practicing making different numbers with each other! The children had time to practice writing numbers, creating numbers with sticks, and creating numbers out of their whole bodies. The children have been showing more interest in expanding their knowledge on numbers, so we are working hard to provide them with many of these experiences everyday!
