This week, we officially began our study of The Mitten. We began by reading the book. We then created a list of the characters in the story. The children familiarized themselves with the story through play based experiences during free play. The children drew pictures of the characters in the story during small group time. The children choose three characters that they would like to be for the show. The teachers will compare the list and assign parts.
