Today, during small group time, the children went on a science field trip around the school. They visited the elementary science lab to observe eggs in an incubator, where chicks are expected to hatch around May 14. The class then stopped by the kindergarten classroom to view the caterpillars, which will soon enter the chrysalis stage before transforming into butterflies. The Oak children documented their observations and will return to these spaces next week to note any changes.
