Rosh Hashanah Fun Continues

Each morning, the Oak children are eager to see how the symbols of Rosh Hashanah have been incorporated into the daily invitations to play. An invitation to play is a thoughtful arrangement of open-ended materials, toys, or everyday objects set up on a table, floor, or tray to spark a child's curiosity and naturally entice them to explore. The teachers are equally excited to observe how the children choose to engage with the materials. 

During today's morning meeting, the class examined a pomegranate. After looking at and touching the whole pomegranate, we cut it open to see the inside. The children drew the pomegranate and dictated their observations. 

Tomorrow, the Rosh Hashanah play moves outside and is incorporated into water play!
