The Giant Carrot

Our class was in for a big surprise when we picked the carrots in the garden this morning!  

The first carrots were pretty small.

But then we tried to pull a carrot and it wouldn't come up!

Two children tried to pull! Then three children tried to pull!

Then four children tried to pull!

More and more children helped to pull!

They pulled and pulled until a giant carrot (actually two carrots together) appeared!

The children screamed with excitement viewing the giant carrot!

What could be better than the giant carrots?  

You guessed it...another giant carrot!

November Self Portraits

The November Self Portraits are now hung in the Ganon Dramatic Play Area and they are adorable.  I really liked last month's self portraits and I these make me smile even more.  It is so nice to observe the children's drawings become more detailed each month.  This month's self portraits include a quote from each child about why they are awesome.
