It was a lovely morning as the Oak families gathered for a Shabbat celebration. They enjoyed a variety of Shabbat-inspired activities, including making challah, decorating challah covers, drawing Shabbat pictures, completing a Shabbat questionnaire, and decorating tzedakah boxes. Together, the families lit Shabbat candles, drank grape juice, and ate challah. The celebration concluded with the children presenting their families with a special gift: a silhouette of each child holding a kiddush cup or Shabbat candles. It is always meaningful to celebrate together as one big Oak family.
Shabbat Shalom!
