There are so many things that you CAN do with CANDLES
Candles are great for making letters.
Candles are fun to count.
Candles are perfect for patterning.
We even created a game using candles. It was a game where we practiced counting and some basic addition. We would spin the spinner. The children would read the number on the spinner then they would count out that many candles. They would then write that many candles on their paper. We would spin again, the children would count out that many candles and record it on their paper. Then we would add the two numbers together. One child commented "this is such a fun game" and another child said "let's play this again tomorrow".
