We finally cut open the pumpkin that grew in our garden.
Many of the children had never seen the inside of a pumpkin.
"It has seeds inside like an apple." - Allison
"I hope it has a star." - Sophie (referring to when Mrs. Ashley cut an apple to expose a star shape during library.)
"It seems so gushy. Is that juice?" - Ori
"It looks like apple juice coming out." - Ari
"Ohhh, it has white stuff inside." - Sophie
"See all the seeds." - Daniel
"It feels yucky and gooey." - Ori
"The pumpkin at my house is rotting." - Matthew
"Look, it's kind of open in the middle." - Daniel
