Math Monday - 100's Day Prep

Today, the Math Monday was focused on getting ready for the 100th day of school.

The children sorted the beads by color.
The beads will be used to make necklaces with 100 beads.

The children cut strips of paper and counted the strips to make a chain with 100 links.
The chain was made with groups of 10 of one color.
Gannon student, S.B., taught some of the children
in the class how to count by tens.

The chain was made with a repeating pattern of blue, yellow, red.

The paper chain helps to decorate our
100's themed provocation table.

 The children counted the beads.
The children counted ten beads of ten different colors.
The children are all ready to make their
necklaces on the 100th day of school.

The children are looking forward to the
100th day of school on Wednesday!
