Math Monday is always a FUN day!
The dice addition game was reintroduced today. The children are all getting very good at subitizing the numbers on the dice. Subitize is to perceive at a glance the number of items. The children are able to tell that five dots on the dice are five without counting.
The Addition Dice Game was played during Large Group.
The children then played the game with a partner.
We also worked on writing teen numbers.
We discussed that all teen numbers begin with a 1.
