Music, Math, & a Marvelous Monday

Happy Monday!

The caterpillars have entered the chrysalis stage.

The children were surprised to discover some different Legos in the classroom.

Surprise!  The missing (and favorite) cell phone was located!

The plants make a great habitat for the animals.
"Mine (animal) lives in this flower."

I found these cuties in their "secret hideout".

The class requested another math game during morning meeting.
This game focused on number identification, counting, and one-to-one correspondence.

The Job Chart was introduced today.
Each child was assigned a job for the week.

"Watering the plants is easy!"

"There are a lot of plants."

The cutting shapes activity allows teachers to
observe the children's fine motor development.

Many of the children were very focused and
displayed tremendous concentration during this activity.

The musical instrument game was introduced to the class.
The objective of this game is to follow directions of when
to play/when to  stop playing while  exploring different instruments.
