Borei Menay Mezonot

We will be focusing on Borei Menay Mezonot this week for our Bracha Unit.  Borei Menay Mezonot is the bracha on non-bread flour products.  

The children dictated recipes for their favorite (Mezonot) food.

Next, the children voted on their five favorite Mezonot items.  They choose brownies, cake, cookies, crackers, and pasta.  They then created a graph of their very favorite food.

 We also created a bakery in the dramatic play area.  The bakery sells delicious cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.
