Friday Fun

We listened to Rabbi Gluck blow the shofar.

We gave tzedakah.

We sang Shabbat songs.

A favorite song today was 'Chicken in a Pot'.
Watch our quick video of the song.

The children illustrated the song.

We took turns on the swings during outside time.  Swinging is a favorite activity of the Ganon children.  Two children learned to pump on the swings this week.  Hooray!
He learned to pump on the swings and is so proud of himself.

She and a friend helped to teach their friends how to pump.

We continued our Bug Study.
We read several informational pages in our Big Bug book focusing on bugs that fly, bugs with a lot of legs, and how some bugs can be camouflaged. The children sorted our plastic bugs by bugs that have wings and bugs that do not have wings.  Then, they drew a picture of a bug from each category.

We ended our week with some relaxing Yoga.
