STEM Challenge

 Today, the children worked in small groups to complete a STEM challenge.  

Directions:

• Create a structure to hold your animal.
• The structure most be off the ground.
• The structure most hold the animal for the count of 10.
• The tallest structure meeting the above requirements wins.
• Everyone must work together kindly and respectfully.

Next, the children chose partners and did the challenge again.  The children applied their learning from the first challenge and were all much more successful completing it the second time.
