The Oak children had their first art class with Mrs. Fellegy today. We read the book Sam and the Firefly. Then, Mrs. Fellegy led a directed drawing session with the students on how to draw a firefly. Some benefits of directed drawing activities include promoting fine motor development, building following directions skills, and developing sequential thinking.
We have a fun year ahead in art!
We are especially excited for our clay activities!
