Fun Friday

Today was such a beautiful Friday!  The weather was perfect and so we had a little longer for outside play. We even began working on a collaborative art project of making a giant butterfly while outside. 

Today our tulips began blooming!  Looking at them made everyone smile. 

We finished working on our Giant Caterpillar. Each child helped to sew the caterpillar together.  Then children stuffed it full of newspaper and finally added a face. Once we finish the butterfly then we will hang them both from the classroom ceiling. 

Our class isn't the only Early Childhood class that is learning about butterflies, so is Ms. Anna's. We invited Ms. Anna's class to our room to see our live caterpillars. 

Our class told the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar to our little visitors. 

It was nice to have shabbat with Morah Schusterman. 

Our Friday was made extra fun with baking challah and singing with Morah Ruti.
