Yom Ha'atzmuat

Today we celebrated Israel's Independence Day with several special activities. We began as the children waved handmade Israeli flags and paraded down the hallways following Morah Ruti playing her accordian. We ended in the cafeteria for singing and dancing with Morah Ruti. Then the children created an collaborative blue and white art project. The children were able to make a blue and white creation using a variety of blue collage materials. Children were also able to slide paint using blue paint. We ended the celebration with some delicious blue cake. It was a great day!
