Today's Butterfly Creations

Today the children were busy making caterpillars and butterflies. Children in the Art Center choose to use playdough, along with craft and recycled materials for their creations. Other children were busy creating caterpillars and butterflies with items from our Science and Math Centers.

The children were also excited to look at all the photos of caterpillars and butterflies in this book brought in by their classmate. One child commented "Wow!  There sure are a lot of different butterflies."

Our live caterpillars have grown so much this week!  We are wondering if there will be some chrysalises when we return on Monday.
