Today, we learned about what imagination is! The children were provided with a variety of coloring materials and asked to make a picture that shows what their imagination is. The children worked with each other and came up with ideas about what their imagination is as well as what they use their imagination for. While doing the activity, the teacher explained that our imagination is the part of our brain that we use to pretend. The children used dot makers, crayons, and markers to create their pictures. While exploring with this activity, the children talked with each other about their favorite colors, their favorite animals and the different things they use their imagination for. The children also used their imaginations to pretend to make self portraits with play dough. The children were provided with a variety of loose parts in order to create a self portrait with them.

While outside on the bike track, the children were also able to draw with chalk. The children used their imagination and creative arts skills to even use chalk on the bike track and create different pictures.
