Purple Day

The children were especially excited for purple day.  They have been anticipating it since the class vote about what color our next color day should be.  The children spent the morning roaming from table to table participating in a variety of purple inspired activities.  One table had multiple shades of purple play dough and purple loose parts.  Another table had purple stamps, stamp pads, paper, and markers.  A favorite table included a plethora of purple toys and loose parts that children used for building and playing.  Purple collage creations was the focus in the art center.  After a morning filled with purple activities, the children shared their purple show and tell at our morning meeting.  It was a fun purple day. Next week is blue day.
