Tuesday-
shape pictures
Today my friends were given numbers made out of different shapes. It was up to them to find the correct shape and place it in the spot where it belongs to create their numbers. Once they were finished they had the choice to pick an animals and then create that out of the same shapes. They loved it and did such a great job!
Thursday-
Bead fine motor
Today I taped different colored pipe cleaners and put out rainbow colored beads on the table. It was up to my friends to grab the colored beads and place them on the correct corresponding pipe cleaner. This helps them to be able to grasp and grab small objects and place them through and down on the pipe cleaners. They did a great job placing the beads on the correct colored pipe cleaners!!
Friday-
Cutting skills
Today we practiced our cutting skills. We focused on holding the scissors correctly and using our other hands to hold the paper while we cut to help us cut in a straight line. We practiced cutting different types of lines. My friends did a great job!
