First Snow of the Year

The first snowfall of the year is always exciting for the Giving Tree students. The teachers may find it a hassle to get to work, but the joy the children feel is simply contagious. The first question asked by many of the children at carline was if we are going outside today. The answer of yes we are going outside, was met with cheers and big smiles. We decided to head straight outside first thing in the morning to the snow. The three preschool classes gathered together on the playground for a snow celebration. The children and teachers ran, jumped, rolled, made snow angels, threw snowballs, danced, and had a terrific time together!

We are so glad that we got outside early since the temperature dropped and we could not go out during our regular outside time.
