Math Games

 Math games are some of our favorite ways to work on basic math skills in pre kindergarten.  Games are a fun and engaging way to learn.  Here are some of our favorite games from the past week.

Guess the Number of Cubes

This game was made up by the children. 
They started drawing cubes and then trying to guess the number of  cubes.
What a fun way to work on estimation and counting.

Look and Guess the Amount Game
This game works on subitizing.  
Subitizing is the ability to instantly recognize the number of objects without actually counting them.
