Matzah Factory in Dramatic Play

After returning from the Matzah Factory with Rabbi Schusterman, we decided to create our own Matzah Factory in our Dramatic Play Center.
We made matzah with craft foam and markers.

We made Matzah Factory signs.

We built a Matzah Oven.

We created matzah paddles with cardboard.

April Self Portraits

The Ganon class is very interested in writing sentences.  The children like to count how many words are in their sentence.  Some children try to think of short sentences and others goal is for long sentences. While writing sentences, they discuss letter sounds and punctuation.  We decided to have April's self portraits include their writing.  I think Max described the activity best.  He said, "It is a tiny Max and so many words."
