Castle Pictures

The Ganon children created castle pictures using sharpie markers and watercolor paints.  Before beginning the project, the class looked at pictures of castles and discussed the many different shapes on the castles.  This project was an introduction to our new unit on castles.  The children have plans to build and create different types of castles.

Math Monday - Patterning

We reviewed patterning during math activities today.

The children created AB and ABC patterns.

The Mitten - It's SHOWTIME!

It was a sold out show for today's performance of The Mitten.  We were thrilled with the turnout of families that came to watch the show.  The children were so excited to hand out programs and money, as well as sell tickets and popcorn to their family and friends.  The show was a quick five minutes, but it took the children almost three weeks filled with fun and learning to prepare for it.  The memories of The Mitten will last even longer.
