Cascade High School FFA Visit

Students from Cascade High School FFA spent their morning with us, and our outdoor classroom looks wonderful because of them! They weeded, cleaned, organized, and refreshed the entire space, working very hard the whole time.

Yehuda, one of our Oak students, took one look at the space and said, “They are good! Look at the garden!” He knows how much effort it took our class to clean out our own garden box, and the FFA students did the same for the whole outdoor classroom.

The high schoolers also visited the Oak class, where they taught the children about apples and gave each student an apple and a color sheet. The Oak children’s favorite part was chatting with the high schoolers while they all ate their apples together.

We are so thankful for the FFA students’ hard work and for the time they spent connecting with our Oak children. Thank you!

Thank you, FFA!

Colorful Morning in the Art Atelier

Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple! 🌈 This morning in the art atelier, our children created six pieces, each inspired by a different color of the rainbow. They worked with collage, drawing, and painting, and the atelier was full of color and creativity. Some of these pieces will be on display at the Giving Tree Art Gallery on Friends and Family Day. We can’t wait to share them with you!
