Friendship Bracelets with Ms. Ashley

Ms. Ashley planned an engaging activity for the Oak children today.  She observed that the children enjoyed stringing beads while working on their sukkah decorations and they also like talking about their friends.  She combined the two and planned a friendship bracelet activity.  She began by reading a book about friendship.  Next, the children went to the tables to create their friendship bracelets.  The children were able to create their own design using color and letter beads.  Ms. Ashley said they could make the bracelet for a friend or make it for themselves.  After the children completed the bracelets, they drew pictures of their friends.  I think Leon expressed the overall class opinion when he said, "Ms. Ashley this was really fun!"
