Flowers of Israel

The Oak children participated in the school community project creating clay flowers. The flowers were created as a way to commemorate and reflect on the recent events in Israel.  The intention was to focus on resilience, remembrance, and hope.  Since the Oak children are very young, our class discussed that these are flowers found in Israel and we are creating these flowers as a school community to show our love for Israel.  The children will glaze the flowers next week in art class.  The flowers will be displayed together as an art piece in the school.
