Water Day

Water Day was a blast! Lily commented that she wished every day could be water day! The Oak friends spent nearly the entire day outside, soaking up the beautiful spring weather and splashing around during water play. They kicked things off with an exciting game of towel tag that quickly turned into towel long jump—so much fun! After all that energy, they took a little break, lounging on their towels and pretending they were at the beach.

Next, it was time for some playground fun, followed by a yummy picnic snack. When it was davening time, they all headed back inside for a beach towel davening session. Then, we made our way to the Grove for the highlight of the day: water play! While splashing around, the kids excitedly discovered a little frog hopping nearby. They had tons of questions about the frog and were curious about what it was doing there.

After a busy morning filled with water fun, we enjoyed a lovely picnic lunch together. To wrap up our fantastic day, we looked at some books about frogs and made a list of questions to explore about them later on. What a wonderful day full of sun and smiles!

They are already making plans for next week's water day!
