We had a BALL today on BALL day!
We incorporated balls into all aspects of our day. The children built structures for balls, created ramps, rolled balls in tubes, and painted with balls during free play. We made a list of all the balls that we could think of. The children colored and turned a circle piece of paper into a ball, and then drew a background for the ball. During large group, the children worked together to create a ball maze structure almost as long as the classroom. Balls were played with in the classroom, on the playground, and in gym class.
