Today’s art atelier experience was inspired by how much the children enjoyed making our Shapes and Color Collaborative Mural two weeks ago. This time, the children created their very own versions of the project!
First, they painted their cardboard canvases with tempera paint, then used combs and brushes to make textured designs. Next, they explored three different art processes on the cardboard shapes: stamping with paint dotters, gluing on paper collage pieces, and covering shapes with colorful tape.
Tomorrow, the children will combine their materials and add finishing embellishments to their murals. We can’t wait to see the finished art pieces!
