On Monday we worked on counting and finding numbers. The children took turns counting numbers in a matching number set and then identified the correct number. The children then went on a number hunt for the numbers 1-10. As children brought the numbers to Ms. Alisa, they had to tell her what the number was.

On Tuesday we played alphabet bingo! The children worked on identification skills as well as they talked with Ms. Alisa about different words that start with the letters of the alphabet.

On Wednesday, we worked writing different bug names. The children were called one by one to practice writing our words like ant, beetle and caterpillar. The children talked about the different letters in the words with Ms. Alisa as well.

On Thursday we worked on our reading comprehension skills. Ms. Alisa read the story "Toad on the Road," and then asked the children questions about the story. After that, the children took time to draw a picture of things they remembered from the story.
