The 100th Day of School was filled with fun activities.
The children were proud to bring in and share their 100's collections.
We began the day doing 100 Exercises with Mrs. Blaine in Gym.
Then we created our 100 Hats. The children counted and added 10 stickers to 10 strips.
Next was a visit to our 100's Day Photo Booth.
The afternoon was spent rotating between a variety of 100's activities.
Children counted items to 100.
They spent time viewing each others 100's collections and our 100's Provocation Table.
The children also worked collaboratively to create 100's Sticker Art. Papers and 100 stickers were placed throughout the classroom and children would add stickers as they liked to the papers. The class enjoyed watching how the pictures changed as more people worked on them.
Children strung 100 beads to create a necklace.
They also used bingo dotters to make 100 dots on the paper.
The final and favorite activity of 100's Day was having a Special 100's Snack. The children had to read the picture cards and then count to add the item to their snack bag. It was a lot of counting but their hard work was met with a delicious reward.
