Meeting a ram and Rosh Hashana

Today, children were provided with the opportunity to meet a requirement and talk about where shofars come from. The children met a ram named Saffar and got to pet him. We talked about how shofars come from ram horns, as well as what rams eat and drink. Afterwards, children were invited to play in many different spaces in the classroom with activities all based upon Rosh Hashana.
