Small Group Week 4 - Mrs. Mahern

Tuesday - We read Ten Apples Up on Top.  The children counted apples and put them up on top of their friends heads.  Next, we reviewed patterning and created an AB pattern with apples.  Finally, we sorted the apples by color and counted each color to figure out which color we was the most.

Wednesday - Working on our symbols of Rosh Hashana book.  It is amazing how much the children have improved on their letter writing in just a few weeks.  They wrote the word POMEGRANATE!  They were so proud of themselves, as they should have been!

Thursday - The children finished their symbols of Rosh Hashana book.  Next, they worked on items for the Oak Apple Market next week.  They created thank you notes for the shoppers and labels for the apples.
