The Giving Tree classes have a real lulav and etrog. The children have taken turns touching, holding and smelling the lulav. Yesterday, Rabbi Birnhack visited our class and said the bracha on the lulav. Today, Rabbi Grossbaum said the bracha on the lulav and taught the children the words to the bracha. He also helped the children shake the lulav. The children then completed observational drawings of the lulav and etrog.
