Wednesday - Story Telling
The children dictated and illustrated stories. The children focused on characters and settings for their stories.
Thursday - This week's letter is letter H. The children completed their handwriting book. Then, we played a letter review game for the letters that we have already learned this year.
Friday - We worked on number identification and writing numbers. The children named numbers picked from the basket. They also held up the correct number of fingers. Next, they choose numbers from the basket and wrote that number on their dry erase board. We concluded small group by teacher directed writing of numbers one to ten.
