This week, we are strongly focusing on fine motor and cognivitve development. To begin the week, we read the story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. The children and teacher talked about the different things that happened in the story as well. To work on our fine motor and cognitive development, we used a floor puzzle and practiced putting it together. The children looked at the box as a template of what the puzzle should look like. The children also described what happened during the story as they were doing the puzzle.
